(my process)

How I build design systems

Define principles & guidelines

Set the rules: what the system believes, and what good looks like.

Select a methodology

Structure it, usually Atomic Design. Clear levels, clear jobs.

Build the component library

Every component, every state, bound to tokens. I use AI to generate edge-case variants and stress-test naming.

Collaborative iteration

Refine with designers and devs on real screens. AI prototypes let us test flows before anything ships.

Documentation

Versioning and contribution rules that keep the system alive and trusted.
